Congratulations Kartini & Haszamail!

Mama Chak's Chef was honoured to be apart of Kartini & Haszamail's wedding, even if I was given a one week notice to pull this together! The theme was pink and light purple. All 100 guests received a pink and purple buttercream swirled and sprinkled cupcake in a gift box with a pink or purple ribbon. The 'hantaran' was also a set of cupcakes with Mama Chak Chef's own sugar white ribbon rose and H and K initials on a pink or purple buttercream. I did not tie a ribbon onto the hantaran box, since Kartini is lucky to have many creative aunties to do the job for her, so as to standardise the ribbon together with the rest of the gifts. The wedding cake was a 2-tier chocolate moist and butter cake with white buttercream frosting, decorated with pink gum-paste roses. I could not find any purple roses at the nearby bakery supplies. I promise that I'll enroll myself to the gum-paste class so that I could get whatever colour I want and whatever flower I want next time. I also had a taste of a full time business owner for this project. Phew!
