From Redmummy to Nuffnang Team

I am still tired today despite the fact I took extra time to sleep after I sent Dania to school this morning. Woke up again at 920 am, ( I think) and got Juriah to massage my legs and feet. It was totally a busy weekend. Starting from Thursday, right until Sunday. With last minute orders that I find hard to say NO to, plus the pujuk rayu from my loyal and first time customers, and my mind figurring out whether to accept or reject the order. Nanti reject, takut esok lusa Tuhan tak bagi rezeki dah.. Tapi for this Friday and Saturday, I am already pretty occupied. Mama Charq Jedi's daughter is tying the knot this Saturday, and I shall be helping with cuppies decorating on Friday. I have accepted a few orders takat I larat buat. I may accept another 1 or 2 orders - simple ones can lah... like the retro, floral, lovey dovey or kiddy designs. But fondant hantaran and character cakes slots are already taken up. Jangan merajuk ya kepada yang call and texted.. sorry sangat2 I decided to start this week's entry with this Hari Raya cuppies ordered by the famous celebrity blogger. Why? Cuppies nye merah... bagi semangat sikit kat gue yang masih penat sebetulnya.. Cuppies were dedicated for the Nuffnang team. I was told by Red that Nuffnang twitted the red cuppies the moment they received them. Thanks Red for the order.

A Red Thank You for Redmummy..

Seriously! Sapa tak kenal celebrity blogger: Redmummy? As for me, it all started when Aliya ordered a set of cupcakes for redmummy's belated birthday. Red was so happy about it and published it on her blog... Aliya told me to check it out the next day.. Honestly, I didn't.. Aliya gave me a sort of warning text message... sounded like this... "get ready to accept orders". True enough, the very next day, I was answerring phone calls, emails and text messages from redmummy's readers...

Alhamdulillah... So, as a token of appreciation, I prepared this RED gift basket with RED Thank you cupcakes for REDMUMMY.. Semoga dipanjangkan umur dan dimurahkan rezeki.. Amin.. To, Red, I do hope you win the 'Best Parenting Blog' in the Asia Pacific Blog Award. Too bad our schedule clashed on the 19th.. I missed the oppurtunity to meet you in person. InsyaAllah, panjang umur kita jumpa ya... And, to Ayu - Sarjan Paku3.. Thanks much for helping me send the basket to Red.. jasamu dikenang...

Pastel colors for Adlina

Aza is my friend since high school.. Satu dorm lagi.. Ada masanya menjadi teman sebaldi masa mandi kat Bilik Air Umum... oh dear.. those days! Isn't Facebook a great invention after friendster and mak nenek yang lain tuh.. ? Yang lawaknya Zul, Aza's hubby said that I can be a kindy teacher just from the look at those drawings on cuppies. Happy Birthday Adlina!

Stroller, Bib, Booties, etc

The other day, Sureena ordered one like this with red and shocking pink color for baby Danisya... I tak sempat nak snap. And when Syima ordered the same theme with baby blue color, I was delighted and reminded myself to snap the pics... Bukan apa, seeing is believing... and the picture says it all... rather than I have to explain how I'm going to draw them, kan senang if you get to see it yourself? :-)

Design nya sama dengan the other designs, but I still post this due to its color combination. Sometimes I receive calls from customers yang wonder how the color combination would look like.. Then again I cannot promise to get the exact color macam dalam gambar ye.. :-)

Luke & Chin Yue turned 11..

Luke and Chin Yue turned 11 and Adrienne, Luke's mom ordered this no 11 cake for their birthday.. And here are some pics of cuppies for little prince and princess.. (I am hooked at The Tudors now.. mini series of the Eng1and dynasty, that's why the choice of words..)

Selamat Pengantin Baru Ika & Nizam

Pink and Green were the theme color for their wedding, and I chose shades of pink and parrot green for the icing. I kinda like this parrot green nowadays.. unless specified to use pastel green or no green at all.. otherwise, parrot green is a must!

These cake and mini cuppies travelled all the way to Ipoh! Mazni mentioned that she arranged the mini cuppies arround the wedding cake with the bride and groom's edible image on top.

I remember decorating their cake and cuppies with hubby reciting poetry on love... yeah... he is 'si penyair' who can easily come up with poetry just like that.. So, these were decorated with love in the air.. *wink*

I honestly have to thank Mum for her ideas wrt to the theme.. I usually turned down requests to draw faces.. especially Barbie or Princesses... especially on mini cuppies.... but hey.. think out of the box.. Thanks Mum not just for your ideas... for everything... xoxo!

Power Puff Girls on Mini Cupcakes

I just realised that I do not have that many collections of cartoon characters for girls on mini cuppies... I do not count Elmo, Barney and Sponge Bob even though I've decorated those for many girls... as to me those are unisex characters... Minnie mouse tak aci jugak, as can only be decorated on regular cuppies. So, I was glad when Mum ordered PPG on mini cuppies on behalf of her friend.. Thanks much Mum... Sorry tak sempat jumpa.. (bawak Iskandar and Nurin pegi clinic).. Awak pun lari2 jugak kan, hari tu... :-)

SUBARU for Syawal

And ni pulak, SUBARU for Syawal... I tak sempat nak interview Fiza lama2.... but I believe mesti Syawal suka SUBARU, hence the idea... hmmm last week was wife/girlfriend's week of expressing love for the spouses eh? (what did I do last week to show my love towards Mas?? *hmmm... macam nothing jer... alamak!)

Areez is blessed to have a mom like Mumtazah.. aka Mum.. Mum ordered this Spidey cake for Areez's Super Heroes Pool Party, accompanied with the rest of the super heroes characters on mini cupcakes, like Sponge Bob, Power Rangers, Superman, Batman...

Rayyan's Cukur Jambul

Another Rayyan yeah.. I pulak tengah tengok Bella, a TV3 series, ada Dr Rayyan acted by Ako Mustapha.. hehehe...

These cuppies were ordered by Rayyan's mom, Rina, for the cukur jambul event. Ada door gifts for the guests, and some mini cupcakes decorated with the same baby theme, with booties, shirts, nappy pin, bib and Rayyan Yusuf's initials..

I apologise for the quality of the photos.. ni asal snap aje.. cos my delivery boy was already waiting outside... (Namanya 1 man show kan.. )

The door gift is priced at RM4 per box (if you provide me the ribbon, only RM 3.20 per box) and the mini choc cupcakes is RM 50 for 72 pieces.
