Mikail is now 7

I would know the age of my blog, everytime Mikail's aunt, Kak Zaida calls me to order a cake.. and despite my heavy schedule or even if it is last minute, I would accept this order with open heart... Memang last minute gila... or else I would have ordered an edible image for the Manchester United logo. Mujurlah lukisan gue tidak ke laut.. and Alhamdulillah customer gue yang sorang ni tak fussy... and sentiasa supportive... Thank you Kak Zaida! Love you lots!

Liverpool - You'll never walk alone

When I collected the edible image of this Liverpool crest from Ellie's house, Mas can't get his eyes of it. Yeah... he is a Liverpool fan and I was lectured and cursed (exagerrating a bit here) for drawing other teams, especially Manchester United! Lawak la laki gue ni... Emo.. I guess he doesn't want to walk alone... nak jalan ngan gue..

Tottenham Hotspur Fan!

Their boss is a Tottenham Hotspur fan! And the team decided that it would be a perfect cake for their boss! Thanks Maya for the order... Hugs!

Jersey and bracers??

I felt so young ( I always feel young... LOL!) when my juniors, Fatin, Saidah and Umairah came over to order cupcakes... my juniors and Nurin's seniors. LOL! Those pretty girls gave me a heart attack last 2 weeks by showing up at my doorstep... I thot they wanted to collect their cakes which obviously I didn't bake!

Anyways, Fatin found me through her kind neighbour Nabawi, who gave her some cupcakes... and in return, they ordered these cuppies for Nabawi.. BTW, Nabawi wears bracers, hence the cupcake above Nabawi's name... :-) All the best girls for your SPM! And thanks Fatin, for the word of mouth.. It was pleasant to meet your mom!

Rugby Ball

I was asked my a long lost friend, Sya, to bake a cake for her dear hubby and darling Princess Betty.... I dunno why I could not find the pic of Princess Betty's cake... I thought I've snapped it..

anyways, I believe I could have done a better job here by carving the edges of the cake.. so that it looks more like a rugby ball, kan? *learn from experience.... other ppl's experience is better, don't you think?*

Azman's Golf Course

Aunty Abrizah ordered this cake for his son-in-law who is a golfaholic.. My hubby used to be one.. But, not anymore... Hubby was on his way back from Kota Bharu when I decorated this. Bukan apa, I just want to make sure, I positioned the toppers correctly. My dad pulak sibuk with his paperwork... and as usual my very helpful daughter, Dania gave me a few suggestions.. and they sound pretty logic to me.. And when I was about to snap this photo, hubby arrived! He complimented it! Phew! I'm glad this was correctly done!

Racecar for Nabil

Inspired by Racecar for Aiman, Liz ordered this same theme for her son, Nabil. I am posting this (even though you can see my race cars from Aiman's post) because it is a different kinda set.. It is a mix and match racecar... the middle one is half kg of choc.. 8" in diameter.. and the surrounding is 40 choc minis with car, road, star and 6 as the design.

For Men

Nawwar came over last Friday to discuss on cupcakes designs. But I think it turned out to be more of a lepak session. We spent 2 hours flipping thru the cakes magazine and books, eating cupcakes .. and cerita macam2, dari Twilight ke accupuncture diselangseli dengan Iskandar yang datang tunjuk Nawwar his toys... Oh, Nawwar also practises accupuncture at a reasonable rate. You can call me to get her number. I'm thinking to do one next week... hmmm ... kena check calendar.. Anyways, dah jenuh bukak segala macam buku, baru Nawwar ada idea nak buat apa untuk her dad... which was a challenge for me... hehehe... I kan baru nak venture into fondant toppers. :p more pics in my flickr.. just click on the slideshow.

Ini untuk orang yang nak pergi belajar jauh2.. Ke Melbourne katanya. Tengku Rozina ordered on behalf her aunty who came to collect herself, whom I can't took my eyes of her (she's so pretty, and she's Tengku Rozina's aunt!!) and her car!! Jenuh jugak TR and I mereka2 ayat for the lucky young man..

I received a text message followed by an email from Liza, who wanted 2 sets of vanilla cupcakes for her hubby. "Just draw sebatang pokok, 34 and HAPPY BIRTHDAY AYAH". I called her then to confirm. In my head dah ready to arrange the cuppies to the shape of a tree. But then, she told me, you just draw sebatang pokok, 34 and the message. "Any other decoration?", I asked. "Tak... just that... ada maknanya".. Fuhh... mendalam tuh.. :-D.. So, Liza confirmed apa saja pokok pun boleh.. asalkan pokok. Dalam mini set tu I added pokok kelapa.. hehehe... Can't stop grinning from ear to ear..

Aiman's Racetrack

Kak Liza ordered this for Aiman. So, since I've ventured into fondant toppers effective this year, I suggested to her a racecar with race track. I got the idea from Carol Deacon book.. and of course siap mintak permission from my favourite cake maker Kak Jun.. Kak Jun buat lagi cun lah..

Man-U, Chelsea, Arsenal..

Zeti kata her kids wanted to surprise Uncle Alip on his 21st Birthday.. Nak design lelaki macho! LOL! I tak tau la design lelaki macho macam mana... I selalu suggest jersey, or logo, or car.. hehehe

Ni pulak, Lady Iryana ordered for her darlz, Hafiz.. Berapa kali Iryana tukar design... sampai batter dah siap, tak tau nak masuk tin mana... Last2 she opt for the mix & match and have a logo in the middle.. and cuppies designed with muffler, no. 7, corner, jersey etc. My darlz, Mas got back from company's Sports Day that day, and looked at the cake, and said - "Sapa bagi kebenaran buat kek MU nih?" hahaha! Yeah.. he is a fan of Liverpool... that's why... LOL!

And this is for Adam. Sabar je ngan Miza (Adam's mom)... Miza was my classmate at Malaysia Institue of Bakery. She is a baker herself.. Banyak la alasan dia.. Tak surprise la.. Tak sempat la... Anyways, thanks Miza.. and oh.., Miza bakes the best choc chip cookies! I have recommended her to many of my customers too.. (I don't sell cookies yeah..)
